  • Once logged in with their PECS username and password PECS can block the Chromebook’s access to inappropriate websites.
  • Chromebooks logged in using a PECS username and password are set to safe browsing.
  • Chromebooks have antivirus built-in.
  • Our network is protected by Sophos antivirus.
  • Our network has a firewall with a strong web filtering module to block objectionable material.
  • Providence Englewood employs an application called “GoGuardian” to monitor what the Students can access.
  • GoGuardian is used to further filter objectionable sites and searches, track Chromebooks, and disable users.
  • Student browsing history cannot be erased.
